Residents in Riverside County may not be able to reach emergency services on Thursday morning due to an outage affecting 911 calls.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced via X that an outage was affecting some cellphone users’ ability to dial 911.
Anyone needing to contact authorities and cannot reach 911 is asked to contact them at 951-776-1078.
It is not clear what caused the outage or what time services would be restored.
