Officials discuss plans for Global Foundries in Malta

After GlobalFoundries made the announcement that their Malta site is expanding, Wednesday, officials from the company and the federal government presented the plans. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick says the two new semiconductor manufacturing facilities, or fabs, planned to be built in Malta is the result of an agreement between Japan and the United States.
